This is one of my favorite projects. It is a CD-ROM of my fathers World War II B-25 combat photos and unit history. My Dad was a pilot and flew B-25s in the southwestern Pacific theater in World War II. This CD includes a large amount of information about the war in the Pacific theater including maps, flight logs, combat photos and stories from those that were there. It is a tribute to this fascinating unit and the members of the "Greatest Generation" that were part of it.

Flying America's versatile B-25 Mitchell Bomber, this squadron performed many different missions. The photo above is my Dad's B-25 that he did a "belly landing" after one mission of being pretty well "shot up". The Fighting 17th lost 60% of its men and planes during their first year in the war.
